Select the source balance in the formula for charts and statements.

Currently, we know that statements use the balance sheet transaction balance, while charts pull data from the current balance.

The proposal is that, when editing a chart formula, the original formula is maintained (accounting accounts), but an additional field is made available that allows you to choose which trial balance balance the data should come from: previous balance, movement, or current balance (without changing the formula). This way, we would avoid the need to manually edit account by account, making the process more agile and consistent.
