Creating a command to select more than one variable for exclusion

This suggestion is a user experience detail; a simple improvement.

It would be useful if there was a shortcut/button to select more than one variable when we want to exclude them.

Basically, sometimes it's interesting to delete more than one variable. To do this, we need to direct the mouse pointer over the delete button for that variable. If we wanted to delete variables of the same hierarchy thirty times (as an example), we would have to do this process exactly thirty times.

So, back to the initial suggestion... It would be nice if there was a way to select the variables you want to delete or perform a specific action.

An example of this is Excel's 'Ctrl + click + drag' command, which allows you to select more than one cell. In any email platform, there is a 'box' button to select the emails that the user wants to perform some action on.
